The Madison Event Center was the perfect place for the ultimate party, and that’s just what Jordan and Connor hosted! These two met during their freshman year at the University of Cincinnati, and started dating shortly after they graduated. Both were a little nervous before seeing each other, but they decided on a first look in the courtyard at Hotel Covington and it was just the sweetest! Each of them got a little choked up seeing the other, and Connor was so stunned by his bride’s beauty that he just kept repeating, “You look SO good.” They exchanged letters and gifts, and Jordan was so impressed by the ring he picked out for her all by himself. She surprised him with a suit coat he had been eyeing. She asked Connor if he liked it, and he said, “Are you kidding me?! It’s perfect.”
Their church was absolutely stunning, and even had a beautiful riverside view to enjoy when you first drove up. Jordan and her mom are super close, so it was only fitting that her mom walked her down the aisle. They also had the sweetest priest officiating their ceremony! He fixed Jordan’s dress for her during mass and even made them kiss an extra time just to get the crowd going.
The Madison Event Center reception was made even more fun because they hired The Chuck Taylors. These guys are the real deal. We have so much fun every time we get to work with them, and they keep the dance floor PACKED!
Jordan and Connor, you two threw the BEST party! We had so much fun with you and your families – Connor’s dad’s rendition of Ride Sally Ride was an especially big hit! You and your families were so sweet and kept us laughing all day. Thank you for including us in your celebration!

Abbey’s grandparents are on the board at Summit Hills Country Club, and as her dad said in his welcome toast, she spent a lot of her childhood there. It made perfect sense for such a special (and stunning!) place to be the backdrop for Abbey and Sam to celebrate their marriage!
These two met on a group outing with friends in high school, went to homecoming together, and the rest is history. Abbey says she knew right away that Sam was The One. Nine years of dating and eighteen months of engagement later (thanks, COVID), Sam and Abbey finally got to make official what so many people had known was coming for so long – their marriage!
Sam, your heart for Abbey is immediately obvious. I love that you spent months learning to ice skate to execute your surprise proposal plan, even if you ended up having to go with Plan C to actually pop the question. Even Father Sterling noticed how you cared for Abbey during your ceremony by helping her with the train of her gown! Abbey, your laughter is absolutely infectious, and your friends who toasted you both bragging on your selfless natures couldn’t have been more accurate. Two people have never been more deserving of a perfect celebration. Thankful to call you both friends!
The bride’s sister recreated one of the engagement photos we took for Abbey and Sam in this gorgeous painting! Seriously LOVE these types of personal, heartfelt wedding gifts. AND, she is CRAZY talented!

We had never visited Glenwood Gardens before, but it’s just down the road from David’s childhood home so we had to check it out! It was so perfect to be able to capture engagement pictures for these two in the same spot they have taken countless walks together over the years. Also, it was SUPER convenient for Lanaya to be able to run back over there when we realized her second outfit was still at David’s parents’ house mid-session. 😉
In all seriousness, these two college sweethearts are absolutely perfect together. They are big Skyline Chili lovers (Chris was totally feeling the Skyline connection with these two), so we decided to start their session with a fun little Skyline date! When David suggested they do the “Lady and the Tramp” with one of the noodles… you guys, I love them. It was so much fun to do something totally different and include something so completely Cincinnati in their engagement pictures. Also, I’m super jealous of how well Lanaya can pull off this adorable hat!
Lanaya and David, I had so much fun exploring Glenwood Gardens with you! (Still can’t get over that killer little patch of rocks we found with your dress flowing in the wind!) You guys were up for anything, and it made this session so much fun! I know your Manor House wedding will be GORGEOUS this spring, but your marriage is going to be even more beautiful. You compliment each other so perfectly, and it’s immediately obvious how comfortable you are together. We could not be more excited for you two!

The Lytle Park Hotel provides the perfect combination of chic rooftop bar fun and luxe details, so it was no surprise when Gabrielle and Bryan told me this place “feels like us”. Just like this gorgeous hotel, these two are classy but don’t take themselves too seriously.
Bryan and Gabrielle met when they were just ten years old on the Mason swim team, and by the time they were sophomores in high school they were officially an item. Even though when they were high school sweethearts Gabrielle said she would marry him one day, she never dreamed she would be right! These two are currently living in the Windy City and planning their summer 2021 wedding at The Transept from afar, so it was so much fun to have them back in their hometown for engagement pictures! Between COVID and Chicago, we hadn’t gotten to meet them in person yet, but when I met them for their session, I couldn’t help but immediately fall in love with them.
Gabrielle and Bryan are troopers and were game for everything from kissing in the middle of the streets of downtown Cincinnati to spinning each other around in P&G Gardens. It’s obvious how long they have been loving each other after spending just a few minutes watching how comfortable they are in one another’s arms. I don’t think Gabrielle stopped smiling for a single minute of their whole session, and Bryan didn’t complain once when I kept finding new spots to “just take one more picture” when they were supposed to be done. 😉 Gabrielle and Bryan, we are SO excited for you two and cannot wait to capture the next chapter of your love story this summer!
