Melody and Hisashi first met playing kickball, and most of their games were on the great lawn at Washington Park. It was perfectly fitting that they said I do at Music Hall in Cincinnati overlooking the spot where so many of their first memories together took place!
These two compliment each other so beautifully. There’s no denying Sashi would do anything for his beautiful bride – as his best man (and random college roommate) said, he couldn’t get Sashi to go outside to get to class if it was under 40 degrees outside, but Melody convinced him to trek across Iceland with her. And Melody has the most adorable crinkled nose smile that comes out when she looks at her man. As the realization that she was Hisashi’s WIFE hit her on the walk back down the aisle after their first kiss, Melody was overwhelmed with the sweetest happy tears that just said it all.
Melody’s man of honor, Sean, gave our first ever toast incorporating a cooler of cheese, but we just LOVED it! In describing Melody (who apparently really likes cheese), he said she was like several cheeses – Brie (soft and sweet), Parmesan (strong), and Goat (stubborn). But our favorite was Sashi’s cheese. Sean said Hisashi was Sharp Cheddar for the very simple reason that he is Melody’s favorite. Can a cheese speech make you cry? It turns out it can. 🙂
Melody and Sashi, we are so thankful to know you both. You already have such a beautiful love story, and you’re just at the very beginning. You handled all of the challenges of wedding planning in a pandemic with so much grace, and you had an absolutely beautiful (and COVID safe!) wedding. We couldn’t love you two more. CONGRATULATIONS!
Melody and Sashi did a beautiful job remembering his mom, Rosemary, on their wedding day. They displayed this touching piece by Hisashi’s dad on the legacy table with several photographs, and it brought tears to my eyes to read of the hope for the future and joy that Melody brought to their family in such a hard time.

The Madison Event Center was the perfect place for the ultimate party, and that’s just what Jordan and Connor hosted! These two met during their freshman year at the University of Cincinnati, and started dating shortly after they graduated. Both were a little nervous before seeing each other, but they decided on a first look in the courtyard at Hotel Covington and it was just the sweetest! Each of them got a little choked up seeing the other, and Connor was so stunned by his bride’s beauty that he just kept repeating, “You look SO good.” They exchanged letters and gifts, and Jordan was so impressed by the ring he picked out for her all by himself. She surprised him with a suit coat he had been eyeing. She asked Connor if he liked it, and he said, “Are you kidding me?! It’s perfect.”
Their church was absolutely stunning, and even had a beautiful riverside view to enjoy when you first drove up. Jordan and her mom are super close, so it was only fitting that her mom walked her down the aisle. They also had the sweetest priest officiating their ceremony! He fixed Jordan’s dress for her during mass and even made them kiss an extra time just to get the crowd going.
The Madison Event Center reception was made even more fun because they hired The Chuck Taylors. These guys are the real deal. We have so much fun every time we get to work with them, and they keep the dance floor PACKED!
Jordan and Connor, you two threw the BEST party! We had so much fun with you and your families – Connor’s dad’s rendition of Ride Sally Ride was an especially big hit! You and your families were so sweet and kept us laughing all day. Thank you for including us in your celebration!

Abbey’s grandparents are on the board at Summit Hills Country Club, and as her dad said in his welcome toast, she spent a lot of her childhood there. It made perfect sense for such a special (and stunning!) place to be the backdrop for Abbey and Sam to celebrate their marriage!
These two met on a group outing with friends in high school, went to homecoming together, and the rest is history. Abbey says she knew right away that Sam was The One. Nine years of dating and eighteen months of engagement later (thanks, COVID), Sam and Abbey finally got to make official what so many people had known was coming for so long – their marriage!
Sam, your heart for Abbey is immediately obvious. I love that you spent months learning to ice skate to execute your surprise proposal plan, even if you ended up having to go with Plan C to actually pop the question. Even Father Sterling noticed how you cared for Abbey during your ceremony by helping her with the train of her gown! Abbey, your laughter is absolutely infectious, and your friends who toasted you both bragging on your selfless natures couldn’t have been more accurate. Two people have never been more deserving of a perfect celebration. Thankful to call you both friends!

Drees Pavilion provided a stunning backdrop for Lynlee and Jeremy’s fall wedding! From city views to vibrant leaves, they ended up with the most perfect autumn day and a gorgeous sunset!
These two high school sweethearts actually split up for awhile and reconnected when their best friends got married. Now they are home owners and proud parents to the cutest pup, Zeke! If you missed Zeke in their engagement pictures, check out how adorable he was living his best life at Misty Maple Gardens. Even though he wasn’t at their wedding, they didn’t forget him or their friends’ dogs – they set up a favor station for their friends to take home to their four legged friends.
Lynlee and Jeremy are super laid back and fun, and it was really important to them that their guests had a great time celebrating with them. They hired the Naked Karate Girls to keep everyone on the dance floor all night, and they didn’t disappoint! In the middle of open dance floor, Lynlee looked over and told me, “It feels like we have our own private concert!” She was totally right. From their epic entrance to shooting toilet paper rolls at the crowd to their dance moves, the Naked Karate Girls were high energy and ensured everyone had a blast!
Lynlee and Jeremy, we are so thankful to know you both! It’s immediately obvious how much fun you two have together, and that showed through in every moment of your wedding day. Congratulations!
