Twin Oaks Golf and Plantation Club really shows off in the fall.  In spite of such a rainy day, it was the perfect backdrop for an autumn wedding!  Matt and Emily have been friends since elementary school. When Matt finally convinced Emily to go out with him their sophomore year of college, he told his best friend, “I’m dating THE Emily”. Because they had gone to different schools, the boys would go through each other’s yearbooks to show each other the cutest girls in their classes. According to his best man, “For Matt, it was always Emily.” And as of October 26th, the girl he spent his whole life loving is now the girl he gets to spend the REST of this life loving.

St. Pius was the elementary school where Matt and Emily met, became friends, and eventually fell in love. So it was perfectly fitting that Matt managed to get Emily back into their grade school to propose inside the familiar halls of the place where it all began. Once they wed at their childhood church, they set off for Twin Oaks Golf and Plantation Club for their reception.  Twin Oaks’s stunning white wrap-around porch provided a stunning photo location and great protection from the rain for portraits!

Matt and Emily, we couldn’t possibly find two sweeter people. We are so excited for you two to take on forever together!
