Riverside Drive in Covington, KY is one of our most requested photo locations! With it’s historic homes, cobblestone streets, and killer city views, George Rogers Clark Park has a lot of charm and character going for it. But in Abby and Nate’s case, this area of town is even more special. Nate actually proposed to Abby here with views of the Roebling Bridge behind them. What a perfect place to capture this season of engagement – right where she said “YES!” To top it all off, they had unseasonably warm weather for the end of November and the most beautiful cloudy day to capture the Cincinnati skyline.
Abby and Nate are high school sweethearts. They both went to college together at the University of Cincinnati, and now they are planning their wedding in the city where they met and fell in love! These two are super laid back and fun, and they were up for anything I threw at them during their session. We made friends with a guy whose yard had the last bit of gorgeous fall color and enjoyed admiring everyone’s beautiful holiday decor as we explored historic Covington together. And they couldn’t even look at each other without smiling or bursting into laughter!
