The Inn at Oneonta Wedding | Aly + Luke

To [almost] quote Luke Bryan, at Aly and Luke’s beautiful riverside wedding at The Inn at Oneonta, cottonwood was falling like snow in May. At one point, it almost looked like it was snowing in the background of some of the images because there were so many puffy white tuffs floating on the breeze. After their outdoor rehearsal dinner got rained out, these two ended up with absolutely beautiful (albeit allergy inducing) weather for their big day. From the ceremony right on the waterfront to the tented reception, every facet of the celebration highlighted the beauty of the area.

Back in 2017, Aly worked with Luke’s mom who tried to set them up multiple times. Aly declined the blind dates until Luke’s mom eventually convinced Aly to go on a group outing in Newport that ended up being just Aly, Luke, and his mom. Fortunately, it turned out that Luke’s mom was right about how perfect these two were for each other. They were inseparable right from the start and ended up dating right after they met, moving in together less than two years later, and getting engaged less than two years after that! In May of 2021, Luke engraved a lock with “Will you marry me?” and proposed to Aly on the Purple People Bridge in Newport near where they first met. After he popped the question and she said yes, they put their custom lock on the bridge and tossed the keys into the river.

Aly and Luke, your laid back approach to wedding planning coupled with the obvious fun you two have together made your wedding day an absolute joy. As gorgeous as The Inn at Oneonta was, your marriage is sure to be even more beautiful. We are so thankful to have gotten to celebrate day one of your forever with you two! Congratulations!
