The Bell Event Center provided the perfect backdrop for Caroline and Jake’s best day ever! These two met on their first day of job orientation as nurses and began getting together after work for Thursday trivia nights. Six months later, as Caroline puts it, Jakob finally made a move and the rest is history.
When it came time to plan the perfect proposal, Jake decided to pop the question on a walk with their dog around the lake at one of the their favorite parks… but the timing never worked out. He then convinced her to go for a drive around a couple local parks, secretly scoping out the perfect spot but couldn’t find the right one. Finally, he took her home and began pacing the house and acting strange. He eventually went to the kitchen to get himself together, came back to the living room where Caroline was sitting, and gave her a handwritten letter with tears in his eyes. While she read it, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. Another beautiful example of an imperfect moment turning out perfectly.
From getting ready at Caroline’s childhood home to finishing out the night with a packed dance floor, every minute of their wedding day was perfect. These two have so much fun together, and they genuinely make each other better. Listening to their priest share the sweet words they each wrote to each other during their premarital counseling had me getting emotional behind the lens! Their day was a scorcher, but they were absolute troopers through the heat. And between their gorgeous church and the architecture at The Bell Event Center, Caroline and Jakob treated their guests to incredible views both inside and out.
Caroline and Jakob, thank you for trusting us with these precious memories. We had so much fun with your family and friends and absolutely loved celebrating you two!
