Ashley and Anthony may be planning a destination wedding in San Diego, but they live and fell in love here. So Cincinnati Ault Park made a perfect backdrop for their engagement session! When Ashley first reached out, she knew it was really important to her to capture their love authentically rather than just doing a lot of stiff poses. These two have fun together, and we wanted to showcase that in their pictures! Honestly, that is the approach we take with every image we create. We always tell our couples we will still do some posing – putting them in beautiful light, flattering their figures with the way we have them stand together, fine tuning small details to make sure they each look their best. And while we always get a few classic shots of you two smiling for the camera, our main goal is to set up opportunities for you two to interact in ways that evoke genuine emotion and give you a chance to be YOU.
Even though we have a plan and similar approach to each session, no two are ever alike. Ashley was a little nervous at the start of the session, but you’d never guess it by the images! Anthony knew the perfect combination of silly and sweet to pull out to set her at ease even with a stranger following them around with a camera. One of the greatest gifts of this job is getting to know our couples, and these two were no different. Ashley and Anthony, I had so much fun with you both! You have the most amazing future ahead of you – can’t wait to see what your San Diego wedding day looks like!
