When you’re driving your grandma to church and she starts telling you about this handsome boy she knows. She’s trying to set you up with him and has NO IDEA she is talking about the guy you ACTUALLY just started dating. If that’s not a sign you’ve found a keeper, I don’t know what is!

This wedding was so special in so many ways – I don’t even know where to start! From God showing off with some GORGEOUS weather after freezing cold and rain just a few days earlier, to having the ceremony at Thomas More where these two met on the track team and first began dating, their day was absolutely perfect. All of their loved ones really came together to bring their vision to life. Felicity’s dad is a deacon and was actually able to perform the ceremony, which made for such a personal and sweet wedding. Mitchell’s mom was able to use beads from Felicity’s mom’s wedding gown to hand-make her veil, which was one of our absolute favorite details. Anytime you can incorporate things that are meaningful to you into your day, DO IT. It makes your day that much more memorable and allows your closest friends and family to be a part of the magic.

During the speeches, their friends couldn’t stop talking about how selfless and kind these two are. They couldn’t have been more spot on – Felicity and Mitchell even chose to eat last at their OWN wedding because it was so important to them to greet each of their guests one at a time in the dinner line.
