These two may have had one of the most FUN wedding parties we’ve had yet! Their day was filled with laughter, from bridal party members swapping outfits for their entrances to the most men we’ve ever seen dancing to Enriquez Iglesias’ “Escape” (because it was Eric’s ultimate frisbee song). We had a blast celebrating and cracking up with this crew, but the quiet in-between moments still ended up being our favorites.
Lindsey and Eric, you may not know this, but we pray for our couples by name on their wedding days. We pray that you have patience with each other when things get hard, that you still look at each other with that newlywed look of adoration in 50 years, that you never stop making each other laugh, that you keep CHOOSING to love each other forever. So it’s always fun for us to see the little signs throughout a wedding day that you’ve got what it takes for the long haul. The way Lindsey’s eyes welled up with unexpected tears of anticipation thinking about her man just around the corner, waiting to see his bride for this first time. The way Eric knew just how to make Lindsey laugh so she wouldn’t cry. The incredible tribe of support they had celebrating with them and cheering them on all day. Their officiant, Jerry, said it best when he gave the blessing. He prayed their marriage would be even more special than their wedding, and we’re pretty confident God’s already laying the foundation for a pretty special marriage. We love you guys!
