This Rolling Meadows Ranch wedding was such a blessing! In the midst of the chaos swirling around our world right now, Olivia and Andrew were such positive and sweet people. During toasts, their friends and family all spoke to their selflessness, and truer words have never been spoken. Olivia poured a lot of time into selecting special gifts for her parents and even decided to surprise her mom with a mother daughter dance in honor of her mom’s birthday just a few days earlier. Eventually, the other moms and daughters in attendance joined them on the dance floor. As their numbers grew, it was so fun to see so many generations dancing and celebrating together!
We love to pray for our couples by name right before we begin shooting a wedding day. We pray for their wedding, but most importantly we pray for their marriage. When we have crazy weather, Chris has been laughing at me because I have also been praying for very specific breaks in the weather during portrait time. But hey, yet again, God took care of us!
On a wedding day that saw everything from cold rain to wind to SLEET and SNOW, we had no precipitation during the entire portrait time at Rolling Meadows Ranch. To be fair, it was still freezing and windy, and Olivia may have had to thaw her toes by the fire afterward, but they were troopers! There’s nothing we love more than a couple whose excitement and joy can’t be dampened by anything. These two spent their entire day laughing, soaking up memories, and enjoying every minute. Even in the moments that didn’t go as planned, they were having a blast just being together!
Olivia and Andrew, you two are a perfect match, and we are so thankful you chose us to celebrate with you. You are going to have the most beautiful marriage, and we were thrilled to get to be there on Day 1!
