Winter Wedding | Bridget + Phillip

For a winter wedding in January, we got so lucky with the weather for Bridget and Phillip’s big day! Their whirlwind romance began in September 2019 when they met at church. After talking in the parking lot that evening for nearly two hours, it became clear that they enjoyed each other’s company. It wasn’t until New Year’s Eve 2019 that they began to consider dating, and by mid-January they had made it official. They knew early on that they had something special, and after a sunny summer morning of strawberry picking, Phillip popped the question!

Their faith-filled celebration took place at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, and it was a beautiful start to their forever. Even with a limited guest list, there was joy overflowing all day from the low key getting ready time in the morning to the intimate mini reception for a small group of family and friends. They decided to postpone their large celebration but were able to reserve a private room at the Hofbrauhaus in Newport, Kentucky. They filled that time with good food, great company, and a sweet slideshow of their memories together for everyone to enjoy.

Bridget and Phil, we are so thankful to know you two! You were troopers in the cold, remained joyful getting married in a pandemic, and stayed focused on what matters most – building a marriage rooted in faith and love. We loved every minute of celebrating with you both and know you have many wonderful years ahead of you. Congratulations!
