Eden Park Cincinnati is a huge park with so many gorgeous spaces tucked away, but our favorite by far is the Twin Lakes section! From the bridge to the lake to the overlook, this small portion of Eden Park shines as one of Cincinnati’s best hidden gems. I am always shocked at how many of our local clients have never visited or even heard of it before their session!
As much as we love Eden Park Cincinnati though, we love Jacey and Ben more. Engagement sessions are always such a fun time to get to know our couples, make sure they are comfortable in front of the camera, and laugh… a lot. In Jacey’s case, I’ve known her for several years, but seeing her with Ben was totally different than seeing her with her family at church on Sunday mornings. These two are so natural together and spent every minute of the session laughing. As they prepare for Ben’s deployment in just a few weeks, I knew these images would be used for more than Save the Dates and guest books. These pictures will be a constant reminder while they are apart of the way she looks at him, the way he makes her laugh, and the perfect way she fits into his arms.
Ben and Jacey, thank you for trusting me to capture this precious season for you both. We are praying for you two and counting down the days to your wedding day next summer at The Little Britain Carriage House!

Every year in Cincinnati, Ault Park really shows off with gorgeous blooms, lush greenery, and that gorgeous iconic pavilion. This year was no different, and we were so excited to get to celebrate Jordan and Connor’s engagement at one of our all time favorite parks. Not only did we get a backdrop of beautiful flowering trees and perfectly manicured gardens, but we also got a man who loves his future bride enough to wear a suit jacket on a warm day. (Definitely a keeper!) Even after an outfit ironing mishap requiring a last minute change, these two are engagement session outfit goals, so take note!
Jordan and Connor met at the University of Cincinnati, and we have such a sweet spot for couples who met and fell in love in college like we did. It’s so fun to hear the stories of how they met, when they knew, and how they have grown and changed together post graduation. Jordan and Connor, you two are such a perfect match. And Guinness had an absolutely adorable and hilarious dog model debut – Connor’s sister was the real MVP of the session for wrangling the pup! 😉 You complement each other perfectly and your session was so much fun! We are counting down the days until we can celebrate you two this October (and hopefully give you a HUG!)!

Lynlee really wanted engagement pictures in a beautiful country setting. And she couldn’t have found a more perfect location than Misty Maple Gardens! From the long private gravel drive to the views to the twinkle lights and charming barn and silos… It was just stunning in every direction we turned. And they have the best sunset views over their rolling hills!
Honestly, the only thing more perfect than Misty Maple Gardens was Jeremy and Lynlee! These high school sweethearts included their sweet pup, Zeke, in their pictures, and he was LIVING HIS BEST LIFE at the farm. He thoroughly enjoyed fetching and chewing on his fancy wooden sign and was cracking us up all night. 😉
When we first met Lynlee and Jeremy at their initial consultation, she didn’t yet have an engagement ring. They chose to custom design a ring after the proposal using Lynlee’s grandmother’s heirloom diamond, which I absolutely LOVE. It just makes an already precious piece of jewelry that much more special! I love to imagine that same diamond being passed down through the generations, reminding each woman who receives it of the love stories that came before theirs.
Lynlee and Jeremy, you two are such a wonderful match. You don’t take yourselves too seriously, and there’s no doubt after spending five minutes with you two that you are better together. You guys have the best laughs and the happiest pup and the strongest love. We are already counting down the days until we can celebrate with you two at Drees Pavilion this fall!

Ault Park is ALWAYS one of our all-time favorite photo locations, but during the few weeks a year that the cherry trees are blooming, it somehow gets even better! So when Melody told us one of the cherry trees is actually dedicated to Sashi’s family, Ault Park was clearly the perfect location for their engagement pictures.
These two met on a kickball team here in Cincinnati, and the rest is history. Even though they could’t take our normal recommendation of going out on a date night after pictures while they were all fancied up, we were so thankful for a gorgeous night to walk, get some fresh air and sunshine, and see another human face – from 6 feet away, of course. 😉 COVID-19 has put a damper on so many plans, including cancelling the majority of our spring sessions and weddings to be safe. But it’s also been a blessing to slow things down a little and get to enjoy more time with our families.
Melody and Hisashi, I had the best time exploring Ault Park with you two and hearing a little more of your story. You two crushed your session and kept me laughing all night – it was much needed! So thankful to know you both, and we are counting down the days until we can celebrate you guys at Music Hall this fall!
If you loved this spring Ault Park engagement session, check out the park in summer for Jill and Latonio’s session! One of our other favorite arboretums is Cox Arboretum in Dayton – don’t miss Sarah and Calvin’s session there!
